eat /FOOD : What the horse eat?
grass and hay
Fruits and vegetables.
Horses enjoy forage plants as their preferred food. This means grasses and legumes. Wheat, oats, barley and other grain plants are considered to be in the grass/forage family.
horses will try to eat anything but mainly they should be eating hay. there is also different types of hay depending on the horse!

Can you eat horse?
Yes you can and many cultures do.
Horse meat is available in most American states and many countries around the world. For some reason many people hold horses to be something special (you might say horses are a sacred cow) and tend to be disgusted by the potential of eating one. The meat itself is tender and sweet with a low amount of fat. It is more like moose than beef.
Do horses eat other horses?
No. horses are herbivores, and only eat plants and grass
And hay and grain : )
Can horses eat apples?
Of course they can. Apple provide a healthy delicous snack to a horse with the vitamins they need although a horse that has eaten to many apple with develope colic, colic is when a horses gut twists, many horses have dies from colic.
